This is interesting and all but it's technically NOT a makeup tutorial. It's more of a photoshop tutorial? This is helpful for those who can't wear makeup I suppose. The only problem I see with this is people over using it and making the finished project look fake and obviously photoshopped. It's best to state to only do this minimally and to stick with makeup for easy to fix parts [like actual capable makeup]. It's much less time consuming to put on the makeup that photoshopping it. Otherwise, this is a good tutorial to fix up mess ups that may have occurred during the shoots.

ahh yes, this was like a SUUUUPPPERRRRR old tutorial (as you can see it dates way back to 2009), so my own knowledge on makeup & photoshop was actually ridiculously lousy. I definitely know what you mean with minimal photoshop & use-this-only-if-necessary, I follow that rule too nowadays.
Technically, no it's not (obviously). But it's something said figuratively, because it's somewhat like makeup except with the use of photoshop. Get my point?

I get the point though it comes off as a "makeup" tutorial more than a "photoshop makeup" tutorial when the title is read. I just hope people won't abuse the use of photoshop. I hate seeing really beautiful pictures get blasted with edits. I know a handful of people that would alter their entire picture x__x

Just wondering what version of photoshop you use cause ^^ When I tried this on my PS7 version that came with my tablet, the way to edit the eyes didn't work, I wanted to make my blue eyes (one of them has like, a brown peace sign in it) brown, and when I put dark brown and blah blah blah, they came out... Brighter, I followed your steps but x.x Yeah, is it my photoshop? It was bright out and I was squinting a bit... Could that be it? Cause my eyes were a bit smaller? Or maybe because I have blue eyes? But I think the squinting a bit was why I couldn't do the enhancements right...

Aaaaahh... Welcome it might most likely be because your eyes are blue since mine has more emphasis on brown eyes. In any case, I don't recommend you use HUE when you're changing the layer style since it won't mix well with blue. Perhaps try reducing the opacity or setting it to COLOR instead but I can't say for sure without seeing it. I hope I helped even if it's a little and sorry for the late rep.
