Description
MarcusThe first time Klimax saw Marcus she was instantly taken aback by his presence, it was the kind you would feel half a league away. It was a presence you would bend yourself to, without him asking, he was a true leader in every sense. He stood a full two hands taller than her, and every inch of his body was pure muscle, a rich coat of black with not a spot of white, glossy from training, and his deep rusty voice carried authority when he spoke.. He was everything she imagined a lead stallion should be.
He introduced himself with a confidence she had only ever seen a leader carry, and his piercing black liquid eyes seemed to look into the darkest corners of her soul. He was one of those Pegasus you instantly liked, a character you didn’t mind having around, because you wanted him around.
He was every bit as kind as fierce, and you knew just by looking at him that he was a capable fighter.
Marcus was exactly what Eigen needed, a true warrior intent on leading his fellow Pegasus into battle with a glorious victory engraved in his future.
So I’ve been writing Klimax’s history, and this was very quickly written for the discription here, its just a small glimpse into her life;
Basically she is sent off to look after horses on a tall mountain for a year, as part of a right into Pegasushood and eventual leadership.
She has grown up believing horses to be stupid, and even believes that just by talking to one, your wings could fall off… but having a lack of fear, she overcomes her prejudices, and discovers the true sordid story behind why horses don’t have wings and is set on a journey that will inevitably change the course of Pegasus history.
I originally drew this for a part of the story where Marcus dislocates his wing, and is all forlorn and depressed about it
Crappy photo Will prolly move to scraps later
Drew the wings without ref (you can prolly tell)
But the horse comes from [link]

You drew those beautiful wings without reference? I think they're gorgeous. The detail you did on them is amazing, as well as the whole drawing in general! I almost feel as if I can reach out and pet the horse
Awesome job!

Very decent wings for no ref. His off leg on the ground looks a tad thick, or too straight--like it should have more of a slant along the back of the cannon--but given the ref photo, that's definitely a confusing area. Love the detail, it's what makes graphite such an attractive medium, me thinks.

Oh of course. XD Or if you're me, you notice the flaw just after you've scanned, re-scanned, and pieced together the image onto your PC. No problem.
