Description There are bound to be spelling mistakes in there as I don’t have spell check on my art machine LOL!

Anyway I thought I’d do a simple hair tutorial as its one of the things I really battled with when I first started in digital, however I’ve just started a new method that I quite like I hope everyone understands and likes it too

My tutorials are so unprettyful LOL!
Alas I hath no imagination when it comes to making pretty stuff on tutorials

done in photoshop CS but i should imagine you would be able to do this in any programe with the flow option

Cool!! I'll have to try it that way. I use Paintshop Pro and the brush doesn't have 'flow', but I think the smudge tool will do something similar. Thanks a lot!

I'll be giving it a try soon. Do you separate the various colors by layer?

normally I do them on two layers, I separate the hair from the horse so that the hair can go behind the layer, so that you're not cutting it off because of your main layer if you know what i mean LOL! But its entirely up to you how you do it the more comfortable you are the better your pictures turn out! I tend to do things the hard way XD mostly I just use 2 layers for most of my pictures ok 3 background , horse, hair haha
