Finally made a tutorial for my recently popular rainbow cake. ^^Had a few requests to make this. So here it is! ;D
This is also my first tutorial, so be kind
Btw TLS for those who don't know = Translucent Liquid Sculpey.
Forgot to write the temperature to bake the clay at, bake it at 275 degrees per 1/4 inch thickness. [:
& I made this tutorial with what I did when I experimented making a rainbow cake, doesn't mean you can't try different ways! Experiment and use your imagination!

Its okay! You dont absolutely need it to make some frosting!

ok so I got the clay TLS and clay softener today! I'm ready to get started! xD will the layers stick together on their own after I've flattened and rolled them to the shape I want? I feel that your steps will lead me to greatness! >;D

After the layers are on top of eachother and made to the size you want they will stay together [:

omg the blue and orange were SO hard to work with!! they were dried out somehow and very hard to soften up...also the icing was difficult to make. however it's done, now, not terrible but not the way I wanted it (and not glazed yet)

Dang! Well what kind of clay did you get? Sometimes you just have to warm it up. (Im reading about the technical things about clay drying etc. in the miniaturist master book) Teehee
I found 2 different ways to make frosting.
The clay technique and the paint technique.
The paint technique is easier and faster yet not as realistic.
The paint technique is adding TLS and paint together to make a frosting.

I like the way your cake came out! I know the first time is the hardest but its quite easy to learn over time and patience! ^-^ Wonderful job overall friend!
