Finally made a tutorial for my recently popular rainbow cake. ^^Had a few requests to make this. So here it is! ;D
This is also my first tutorial, so be kind
Btw TLS for those who don't know = Translucent Liquid Sculpey.
Forgot to write the temperature to bake the clay at, bake it at 275 degrees per 1/4 inch thickness. [:
& I made this tutorial with what I did when I experimented making a rainbow cake, doesn't mean you can't try different ways! Experiment and use your imagination!

So, how do you color the clay?

It looks great! But why not bake it after it has the frosting o: ? Instead of 2 times?

& Usually its easier to frost the cake after its baked once since most people , like me, have warm hands and could squish the cake while frosting it and its easier to frost when baked so you can grab from the middle of the baked texturized sides inside the cake and the bottom to get a good grip and frost it easier all over. [:

& Great!! TLS stands for Translucent Liquid Sculpey.
Its for making frosting for your miniatures usually.

Thank you very much & thanks also for sending me the links for the tutorials. Another question: Does your sculpey clay softener really soften the sculpey clay (well, I use fimo)? My sister bought some fimo softener the other day, but it seems it doesn't work

It should for sculpey but I hardly use my softener anymore, I just have my sister warm up my clay lol. & Im not quite familiar with fimo.. Sorry im not much help with that though.. Ohh its hard fimo like clay?? Hmm.. maybe you got translucent clay?? I am not familiar with the hard kind of softener.. Hmm.. But unless your clay is totally hard and will not warm up, I would say just use the tls, it works fine w/ or w/o [:
