A quick Togruta portrait for a Star Wars day ~ Meet Minerva, a dancer with teeth! I recently got obsessed with the fact that Togrutas are supposed to be carnivorous with pointy teeth (at least in Legends) so here we are ahah. I also realized that in spite of all the Togrutas I owned, I had no yellow one, which was a shame since it's my favorite color ahah.

Anyway, happy Star Wars day everyone

I love Star Wars, because...
Because it's Sci-Fi, and scifi is cool. But it's not just science-fiction, it's an old science-fiction that doesn't try to be serious or realistic. It's a world where we can breathe on asteroids and hear the sounds in space, where we can built a new spaceship with what we just found in a trashbag, where just an skin color or little drawings on the face can change your species, where you can find talking cats and centaurs being captured by an army resembling one that existed in real life and that I can't mention here... Ah! Endless possibilities!
Because that's Star Wars as well: the possibility to create almost anything and everything, to tell any stories, to invent almost any content and still be coherent. In Star Wars, you can be who you want to be, and more. You want to be a pink-colored person with antennaes who rides an ugly monster that's just an angry head with small paws, and who dates a giant slug on a Las-Vegas planet? That's possible.
Because we have droids, and droids are the best thing in this universe, you can't change my mind (K2-SO is my eternal love)
Because it's infinite. You can browse all information, read every comic and every book, watch all the series, movies and cartoons, play every game... you'll never have consumed everything made so far. There's always more. ALWAYS!
Because it made me dream. There have been moments in my life where I was down, and where this universe has been a shelter from real life for me. I discreetly used my main Togruta to cope for a trauma, and I was happy to live to discover Jedi: Fallen Order back in the days. This universe has accompanied me so much and through so many difficult moments of my life, it's also why I love it.
Because I share it with my boyfriend, and with all my friend. We roleplay, we speak Star Wars, and we created our characters in the universe for ttrpgs. And guess what, I either play a Togruta, or a droid!

I love Star Wars, because...
