The fruits of the stream! Or at least what I can show you.
So. A while ago akiwitch held a contest for her comic Lies that Bind. I entered, won, and my prize was to have a character make a cameo in the background (or possibly more depending on the artist feels). Well I had completely forgot and LtB went on hiatus for a while. But now Aki is doing a reboot and reminded me about it, so during the stream I hammered this out. And by "hammer" I mean I doodled and liked the doodle so much I colored it.
So this is Xiomara (pronounced "See-oh-mah-ra") but she goes by Cici most days. Her look and her name are pretty much my contribution to the character and I handed the rest over to Aki to develop for her comic.
I'm pretty sure this is way more detailed than she'll end up being in the comic, because I love details, and those aren't really conducive to a self-produced comic.
Anyway, her look is inspired from several different sources, including but not limited to: Audrey Hepburn, retro scifi fashion, I Dream of Jeanie, vintage pin ups, Sailor Moon, and Ah! My Goddess.
I really like how her breasts turned out. My anatomy has been slipping lately, so I'm glad that at least turned out. I'm not saying the rest is bad, but when the boobs are that big and that much a part of the design, it's good to get them right.
