If you follow me on Tumblr , then you've probably already seen the sketch for this (or maybe not, it was very early this morning). This is the flatted stage for the Opal piece. For this particular one I'm taking a different approach to inking and the lines and very VERY light and delicate, which will hopefully allow me to put more emphasis on shape and form. In essence, it'll hopefully look really cool.

I elected to eyeball the colors rather than use official art and color pick. Since I'm using textures, I'm already altering the values of the colors, So I didn't really worry too much about it as long as I was in the relative color ballpark. The Palette dots in the upper right are what I started off with, and the final colors and kinda obviously... not those anymore. If things go well/as planned, this thing is going to be really gorgeous.

Thoughts on adding blue henna to her arms?
