So for my Narrative Illustration class, we're addressing the assignments as the way we would do a book dummy to send to a publishing company. I've decided to do a story of my own invention based off of the Japanese folklore, The Spider Weaver.

The title that I've chosen for the story is "The Spider Weaver's Daughter"

it's a world that involves multiple tiers of living and societies, and in following the pattern of folklore, meaning giving an explanation for why things are the way they are through narrative, my story covers where nightmares come from and where they are now. (The original spider weaver story is about why clouds are fluffy and white like cotton)
