this is different because it doesn't follow the pretty picture that most photographers try to pass on from life. It's interesting for the story, and it has appeal because I think its so down to earth. Most of us wouldn't take a picture of ourselves like that.

Oh wow! This is a really lovely picture, the colors are so deep and the subject kind of enigmatic. It's melancholy, but in a comfortable way. I can hear the plaintive accordion music (or is it a polka?!).
