How to Install Custom Themes - A guide by neiio

You need your system to be patched first in order to install 3rd party visual styles for Windows (uxstyle or uxtheme patcher).

You can use the Theme Installer to install the theme afterwards:

Or manually move the theme to WindowsResources folder.
You can use Navigation Icons Customizer to edit the explorerframe:

Or manually edit WindowsSystem32explorerframe.dll with a resource editor (I use Restorator) to replace the matching resource bitmaps.
For the Start Orb you can use:

Hi do you help me whith "SHUT DOWN" icon? No one comand in this folder work. When i retiping comant on shutdown command window flash and no one is happen. Thats ok whith this I test its working bud whith shutdown.exe -s or shutdown /s or shutdown /s /t 0 is do anything. I dont what else do. Sorry for my english I hope that text is meaningful

It seems to me the qoutation marks mess with the config.

I've uploaded a version where the shutdown commands work, but take note that you won't be able to change it to launch programs with spaces in their path names in the 6th panel (which is Shut Down for now).

Oh okay, in fact I've been trying to for a while, but I was on my notebook until recently, and this weekend was spent on celebrating a friends' birthday.

I seem to have got most of the theme to work, the only thing is is that the task bar and windows explorer dont seem to work

Seems like Windows reverted back to basic mode... try to switch to any Aero style theme, and apply it again.
Even though the skin lacks transparency, it still requires Aero (dwm) mode enabled.

Seems odd to me... say for example, can you use the Aero swap while the theme's active? (You know, the one with window slideshow, Win button + Tab).

If your OS is not Home Basic it shouldn't happen (maybe except if your graphics drivers are not up to date).
Anyways, here's something I've found at Microsoft support forums:
Force Enable Aero in Windows 7
1. Click on Start and type regedit at run
2. Now Navigate to the following registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\DWM
3. In the right details pane, create following Three DWORD (32-bit value) entry
UseMachineCheck, and set its value to 0.
Blur, and set its value to 0.
Animations, and set its value to 0.
4. Close Regedit
5. Click on Start and type CMD with administrative Priviliges
6. Now type following command
Net Stop uxsms
Net Start uxsms
Above command will stop and start Desktop Window Manager Session Manager.
7. Now you can turn on Aero by right clicking on desktop-> Personalize -> Select Windows Colors

First of all, thanks!
Sadly this dock is for the time being set to this size, might try to work it around in the next update.
For the theme... it seems one out of every few people have this problem, but I've yet to even begin to figure it out.
Could you send me a note with all the details about your OS? 32/64 bit, Ultimate or not, and a screenshot of your Windows\Resources\Themes folder, etc.
I'd also be glad if you could - like in e-mail - send me the current .msstyles file you use.
For the time being, I can recommend - and ask as a favor - to use my older League of Legends Desktop ; I'm also interested if that one works well for you (but I have not seen errors like in this one in that). I might be able to come up with an in-between skin until I get a full fix.

For the taskbar I noticed that the buttons should be "always combined"... looking into how to make it good with other settings too, I suggest you set it that way for the time being.
The part about the Rainmeter really seems odd to me. Is your Rainmeter the newest stable (or beta) version?

Hey mate. I made a comment on your older "LolDesktop" some minutes ago, and you sent me a guide so i could read. I read it all (great guide tbh!).But I still seem to have some problems. How do you make your task-bar and the art around the the windows like it's shown on that picture above appear? I copied the theme files into my "Resource/Themes" Folder and double clicked it. And I also did that "take ownership" Thingie. :3

It seems to my that the system patch is malfunctioning; if you haven't tried it yet then try uninstalling uxstyle / universal theme patcher (whatever you use), and reinstall uxstyle (I suggest that because that's the one I use; download it from uxstyle.com).
