Sadly I don't know much about Vista theming, though if I had the capacity to install an additional Vista on my tiny HDD I think I'd make it gladly, but for now I'll have to focus on the 8 / 8.1 port.

It's not Rainmeter, it's a Windows theme, changing the appearance of the Aero theme.

Yes, currently it is for 7 - and the release this weekend if for Windows 7 too - but will make port for 8 / 8.1 as best as I can starting next week.

Only a small (literally few kilobytes) theme patcher like uxstyle (uxstyle.com) or Universal Theme Patcher.
