Description Time is Unfair,
Remember how many times,
Time is to blame for out failures

But then,
What are the purposes,
Of the recent trials time has given us?

Isn't it part of life,
to overcome such challenges?

To that matter,
Isn't time challenging us?
Putting us on trial so we shall strive?

Oh Holy Furballs, I really sucked at making covers, so I decided to go with simplicity

Temporal Shift will be separated into 3 chapters:
1. Trials of the present
2. Truths about the future
3. Re-Transmigration of the past

This story is a Happy Tree Friends fan comic. Chapter one will not have much Sci-fi going on yet, it is there to provide a background of what and why it is happening that propels the story forward. But towards the end, Science will once again show his face

The story will put the limelight on Cuddles (story will be told from HIS point of view), with Toothy as a deuteragonist.

The "T" is a symbol for TETRA, which will be revealed later in chapter II. What is it? No spoilers

I hope it will be good...

A deuteragonist is the second protagonist, less important than the main character, but plays an important role that he can be considered a lead himself [link]

Chapter II will be full Sci-Fi, but I guess you will a bit disappointed to know that chapter I will be more of a introduction leading to the events of the time travel later...

Awesome graphics? Seriously?!? But... but...

I guessing that this comic is about time-travelling, am I right
and "TETRA" kind of reminds me of

Yup you're on the money.
The first chapter doesn't really include that though as it is more on an introduction to the events leading up to the time travel.

Oh, there is a connection, especially with Quadrilateral (you look at the symbol, it consists of 3 quadrilaterals), Which is different from a circle, in this case, something opposite. Its symbolic actually

I suggest a loop in the story line, like a bond between the beginning and the end to make the story more interesting .

Hehehehe! The name is good Very good, never thought of it myself.

Oh, just for my oral defence, personal portfolio assignment. Sec 4 gotta do this, which constitutes quite high a percentage for the English marks.

But what does a falling block game got to do with an oral exam

Your in Sec4 now , thats as old as my older sister , good luck on your 'O' levels .

Its the theme. We have to do a little metacognition on all our work, and set a theme to it. And found that tetris represents it well Abstract? Not for me

Thank you for the kind words, will do good for the 'O's. But it seems I have to spoil a bit about my school... I will only sit for the mother-tongue O Levels as the other was part of the school programme...

What did you learn for MT? I see that you don't study Chinese as seen in one of your replies....

And does the project take up a lot of marks? like 15-30%?

and what is a "metacognition"? (Wikipedia is too confusing )

Malay... And its quite painful, considering that you have to start from zero Yes Indonesia and Malay seem similar, but nope, they are waaaayyyyy different...

30%. Metacognition is basically analysing the way you think. So you did something, and from there you retrace back the steps, remembering what did you do and how you're thinking process, style, and other mental system functions. Its something like a reflection, but more on our mental process.

I had malay remedial classes in school, those boys were so distracting (in a bad way, of course).....but most people would assume that this was a bad excuse for not paying attention and all I managed to learn is "BAIK CHIKGU" which means "yes teacher"

That is one confusing assignment O.o, and holds a lot of marks too X_X. Wonder what are you going to do with the tetris theme and all those assignment reflections

Oh, you will never imagine how those malay students act in our class... Bloody, extremely wild! Dammit, Sec 4, but still with an attitude... Can't believe it Good thing they're getting better this week, perhaps because 'O' is looming up ahead Hahahaha!!! At least you now know how to talk to your Malay teacher when they want you to do something

Oh, its something C:< A little complicate I guess. Some of my friends took puzzle, or water flow, or something more abstract actually.

At least you have a more creative theme, which could score you more points, and I'm sure those examiners would prefer creative themes .

And I remembered another one very clearly
File = fail

Ah, the magical charm of language Oh, you should've laughed knowing how Indonesia and Malay can be that different!

Take "tewas" for example.
Lets use it in a context:
"Roger Federer tewaskan Nadal "

In Malay, tewaskan means "to defeat" so the sentence would be translated to: Federer defeated nadal

But in Indonesian, tewaskan means... TO KILL!!! So it goes: Federer KILLED Nadal!!!

SomeDumbDeviant In reply to Yudhaikeledai [2011-07-18 14:34:05 +0000 UTC]

Really!? O.e
What a coincidence, I've always thought that the Malay language was modified with English and other languages through influence , don't you agree

like
Computer= Komputer
Calculator= Kalculator

OMG! FEDERER KILLED NADAS!!!!
YOU B******!!!!!!!

They are. Some are very literal translation
Bus -> Bas
Boat -> Bot

And some made us Indonesian laugh real hard
Berbual means to talk and chat in Malay, while in Indonesian it means to lie
And Semangat means spirit in Indonesia while in Malaysia, it means "Spirit" (as in ghost)
