This picture made me smile the instant I looked at it. It's not very often that you see a ferret on devaintART, which is mostly littered with feline and canine animals, probably one of the first things that caught my attention.
Another thing I love about this picture is how natural the animal looks, how it seems to be caught in the moment, as opposed to being posed or made to do a trick for the camera.
I like the composition of the overall picture as well, as the picture embodies, for the most part, simplicity and a rule of thirds. I love the simple elements especially as the individual elements in the picture contain no more than three basic colors, and don't convey any more detail than the subject, the ferret. The only thing that nags me is my curiosity to see how a bokeh would look with this picture, though it's not necessarily a shortcoming in the first place.

I am so very happy also that you have noticed how natural my ferret appears. It is one of my goal in general in my photography work : to capture them in their real nature even if they are surrounded by an human environment, my world that we share together, as they are domesticated.
