Now this might sound strange... but I'm going to ask it anway.
When ever I work on my screentone's the dots always tend to be ridiculously large when I'm zoomed in at 100%
Now the DPI is set to 600 so I'm not sure what I should be doing to make the dots smaller when I'm doing the actual toning.... I just know that scaling all of them down to 25% is starting to get a little annoying.
So, do you know what I should do?

Wow, this tutorial is amazing. I'm shocked that you haven't done one before now with how well it is all placed together. This was all very helpful and the tips you gave I had never thought of before and have never seen in any other screentone tutorial. I can't wait to try them out now.
I also believe that you may have just convinced me to get manga studio for myself. Thank you so much for taking my comment seriously and making this tutorial.

It really wasn't a problem giving you the encouragement or well earned compliments. I feel like I got the better end of the deal since I got to learn a lot of things about screen toning I didn't know about before. ^^

My apologies for the general lack of comments lately. School caught up with me--unit plans, school visits, reports, the occasional bout of depression, pretty much everything that you can imagine happening in one month.
At any rate, I can see just from my observation of your process here that your art hasn't so much developed as evolved. It's almost like looking at a different person--your style remains intact, but all the little details have become much more distinct. Your application of screentone in particular is professional-grade; I wish I knew how to do digital inking half as well.
Anyway, cheers on the improvements, and I hope to catch up on my comment backlog soon. Keep up the good work.

No problem re: comment. Schoolwork's still coming in hard, though. (Thanksgiving break? WHAT break? What are you talking about?) But I guess that's the price I pay to wind up qualified to teach.
