This is an amazing UI, I love it! This design has ignited my imagination; it's not often that sci-fi is done this well.
The design is actually very efficient if you think about it. If you have ever seen the cockpit of a 747 you will know what I'm talking about. I could see this being used today on a touch interface to replace all those switches in an airplane. The apps would need to be spread out a little more for a touch interface, with some apps being a little bigger. Overall though its beautiful. I hope you make use of this in either a theme, as an interactive animation, application UI, or all of the above

Brilliant. Looks like something straight off a flight deck of some high tech space ship. Love the colors scheme you have used and the fade from light to dark horizontally. epic, awesome. i also love how you have incorporated spaceship status along with the old PC status, the Left engine thruster, V - stabilizer. genius!!

Holy crap... this thing is nuts. 1,113 layers?! Are you freaking kidding me. I love it the the only thing that bothers me is that it looks a little to busy. I would not want to try and figure out this starship that's for sure. But other than that nice job.

Wow... all i can say is just wow... Have you thought about making GUIs for a living? I've got a comic book project that i'm fiddling with, and the tech the character uses is like 50 years ahead of it's time (solid light holographics, etc). Have any tips or general layout tricks you'd like to share? Would you be willing to design a UI scheme for a fee? Let me know if you'd be interested.
