Description
Blanche Sitznski was a steelworker in Pittsburgh before being recruited to serve as an exercise instructor at Taskmaster's academy for criminals. It was here that she was scouted by Roxxon Oil and joined their superhuman operative division. Blanche underwent extensive mutagenic operations, her bones were laced with an artificial form of adamantium and she was given extending tentacle-like limbs as well as having her strength enhanced to superhuman levels and being given gills that would allow her to breath underwater. She worked for Roxxon until invited to become a founding member of the Serpent Society, where she served as the powerhouse of the group. She served with every incarnation of the group since then, even betraying former leader Sidewinder after Viper took control of the Society. After the Society disbanded she was recruited into the Six Pack, a covert S.H.I.E.L.D operation that was tasked with bringing in Cable. After the group failed they were disbanded and Anaconda returned to her life of crime.
