All you have to do is use this code inside of your custom box, which is almost the same as the mini box code, except it includes the custom box background code inside of it, which allows the little boxes to have a background of their own. (that's a mouthful)
Basically this is the code for the little box with a background. XD

It has to be large enough because it won't repeat, but that's the only size restriction. I checked your page and they seem to be working fine now!

As far as I know there is no way to change this :/ You might want to search around a bit, but I don't think it's possible atm.
