Papyrus handling this well.
This is really only half of the conversation, I hate splitting a scene in half like this but there was just no way I could fit the whole thing into one comic feasibly. So the next one will pick up right from here. The conversation is really meant to be taken as a whole, but this was just the most naturally place to break it in half when I was going through it. What can you do.
Did most of this on my laptop, so some things might look a little off. Not sure how long the next one will take... we'll see. Hopefully not too long...

I feel you, I once was undersized in every way, then Instead of idk gaining weight I turned into a god dang tree. But atleast I get to be taller in like almost every relationship :3

Poor Papyrus... I'm kinda curious if Chara will show up at some point cause maybe they can break the code and help Sans and Papyrus remember their past, who knows cause in most comics I've seen Chara is evil but I personally think their good but only snap when someone goes Genocide killing everyone they love. I kinda got sidetracked oops... hehe this is a very interesting comic.

Oh really? I didn't catch that. Yeah, I'm not interested in the human kids much either, since they are given very little characterization. Well, Chara is, especially if you accept the evidence for the Chara is the Narrator theory, but still . . . they're a pretty bad kid and we have no idea why. I've seen at least one fanfiction that does Chara well, (and Sans for that matter) but the backstory is a predictable and anti-climactic 'they were abused and raped' thing . . .
Anyway, point is, I'm *way* more interested in the monsters than the sort-of-blank-slate humans. And I don't think it's just because I like animals and drawing skeletons on behalf of learning Anatomy.

The reason they don't have any personality is that it's supposed to be YOU. I do like chara's story and I think it's unjustified to think he's evil . But again you don't see chara a lot.

So I guess I'm kinda puzzled as to why so many artists spend time drawing Frisk and Chara. Is it *consciously* self insert? I kinda don't think so. They seem to develop personalities for them.
Of course, I am totally guilty of doing this for Gaster, so I guess I'm a bit of a hypocrite in that respect. He's basically an extremely detailed OC at this point. And diverges from even most of the fanon about him.
As for Chara, emotional abuse is often not recognized by people as 'real' bad behavoir . . . i.e., taken seriously . . . and yeah in Genocide I think the true villain is the player, not Chara. But before that, and aside from all the *maybe* good intentions of the ploy, he (I prefer 'they') do not treat Asriel well.

I think this video sums up what I mean about chara pretty well. I do not mind that people make their own versions of frisk and chara. I kinda like that people have a different interpretation on them. Even though it's barely show it in game.
