Papyrus handling this well.
This is really only half of the conversation, I hate splitting a scene in half like this but there was just no way I could fit the whole thing into one comic feasibly. So the next one will pick up right from here. The conversation is really meant to be taken as a whole, but this was just the most naturally place to break it in half when I was going through it. What can you do.
Did most of this on my laptop, so some things might look a little off. Not sure how long the next one will take... we'll see. Hopefully not too long...

Gosh this is exciting, I feel so much for Paps ; ; I can't help feeling a subtle turmoil from Sans considering he knows more than he's letting on and how he probably feels really bad for keeping it from his bro but at the same time knowing if he told him it might hurt him more than not knowing. Your artistic skill is only matched by your amazing knack for story telling! Also, if you hadn't mentioned doing this on your laptop, I wouldn't have known; the quality of your art is still damn impressive. Thank you again for continuing this story, it's my favorite au and my adopted headcanon for the game.

That's so sad. He's so upset. They're so close to figuring it out. I can't imagine that. Having everything there in front of you but can't actually figure put what really happened because the person you're looking for has been erased. He never existed. It's sad because Papyrus wants to know his origins, he wants to know where he came from and if he has other family other than Sans. He's frustrated because all the puzzle solving and piecing together has ultimately led to nothing. The truth in Sans' words is piercing and yet true. You can't look for something that isn't there. You can't find something that isn't there. It's all... "nothing". It's so sad to see Papyrus who is more or less a happy go lucky guy who never stops believing in the best suddenly break down into tears. This truth... of "nothing" has broken him. And that's hard. And when Papyrus said he was fine, Sans felt the stab of sadness in himself because he knew exactly what that felt like. He wants to stay strong, and yet sometimes the darkness overtakes us and it shows. It hurts you and the other people around them. It's the cruel and yet beautiful thing this comic portrays. It's sad but done so beautifully it makes the reader empathize and sympathize with the characters. The emotions are real while the situation is not and yet it feels like we're there with them experiencing the heart ache and frustration with them. Well played author... Well played....
