Papyrus handling this well.
This is really only half of the conversation, I hate splitting a scene in half like this but there was just no way I could fit the whole thing into one comic feasibly. So the next one will pick up right from here. The conversation is really meant to be taken as a whole, but this was just the most naturally place to break it in half when I was going through it. What can you do.
Did most of this on my laptop, so some things might look a little off. Not sure how long the next one will take... we'll see. Hopefully not too long...

Honestly, "nothing" is the worst possible conclusion someone could come to. And you can see how defeated Papyrus looks just by hearing the word. He came here fully expecting to learn all of the secrets behind the meaning of his life, and most likely by extension his purpose in life, and it's leading him nowhere. If his origin means nothing, then does that mean he means nothing to the world? That all his efforts are in vain?
The most agonizing part is that they're so excruciatingly close to figuring it out too, but they literally can't because Gaster doesn't exist, so while his lab, house and some of his research are there, they can't possibly know more about him and what he did to them because the man has never existed.

Except Papyrus and Sans don't have all the pieces. But it's hard to see that when the missing pieces no longer exist.
I'm still waiting for Flowey to make his move. What is he after? And ... can he pop up through a metal or concrete floor?
