Spoilers: it does. Another benefit to doing these out of order! I totally referenced the final battle in Earthbound too, score.
This would probably be the first time they've seriously fought about something or raised their voices at each other. They're scared and in pain and aren't really handling this very well. No one is happy with this.
(Gaster isn't handling it very well either, not that he's going to admit it)
If you really want to feel bad, a lot of their conversation still applies if they were talking about you the Player, haha.

There aren't really very many good English onomatopoeias for really deep long gasps, that's what the first GGGHHHH noise is meant to be. Hopefully that came across? Oh well.

Gaster is shaking and chain-smoking, and baby paps is in denial, and sans just had all of his bad suspicions confirmed. Oh my heart. I love this, please don't stop hurting me.

This is the most feels and horror and sorrow and just realization of the worst things I have read in any of your single comics so far.
I am terrified.
The very moment Sans realizes what all this means...that heartbreaking, soul-shattering moment of "oh god this isn't going to stop"...that chills me to the bone. That wasn't a pun.
And then Pap is too good hearted and began having a panic attack rather than accept Gaster for who he is...
There are tear tracks down their skulls during this entire comic, that is so awful.
Oh gods these poor kids...*urge to kill Gaster intensifies, regardless of initial regrets*
I want to see so much more from this comic in the long run, but wow I cannot wait for the day when I see these two kids go free and venture into the Underground away from Gaster.

I'm kinda curious, with that mini-comic you did with Frisk finding the skele-bros in the true lab...what would happen, how would Frisk react? Would They be nice and Gaster get mad, triggering the bros to fight back? Like, maybe you could build on that. Just an idea

I wonder if Papyrus will ask how Sans is even still alive when they finally calm down at some point, since Gaster explained to him that Sans would die if he's hurt even a little and that drilling was definitely more than a little hurt.. or did Gaster already explain that to them?

Throughout all this, I still can't hate Gaster. And I'm not entirely sure why. Maybe cause you show us the hints of humanity and hesitation Gaster has, the moments Papyrus isn't able to see but still suspects.
I've noticed that just about all Handplate comics end with the skelebros huggin it out.

They don't actually, they heard Gaster say it a few times as a phrase (he says it in the one where Papyrus loses his arm for example) so they picked it up from him. |D They don't really know what or who god is, just how to use it in a sentence.

Gaster, I really REALLY want to hate you. You came this close to absolutely breaking Papyrus and dismantled Sans's trust in people in one fell swoop and I will never forgive you for that. But, you yourself never wanted this. At one point, I'm sure you even considered them your children, if only for a fleeting moment. But, you're doing this for what you consider the greater good of monsters. But you know the saying: the road to hell...
I honestly think, either by accident or on purpose, one of those boys will push you into the void themselves. And I still don't know if you don't deserve it.
