Ripper Roo is copyright of Crash Bandicoot by Activism. Ruby Roo, his sister, is my OC. Since he's going to feature in a future story, I thought I needed some practice drawing him and Ruby tagged along to keep him out of trouble.

In this "what if" scenario, Ripper is born into a world without Dr. Neo Cortex to subject him to endless experimentation that would eventually turn his fur dark blue. No spindly body wrapped in a straight jacket for this boy. This is Ripper as he would have been. A healthy red male kangaroo who still has a penchant for wild explosive adventures. His best mate is a feisty bandicoot you might know. As a nod to his original self, I've designed him with blue shorts and a dark blue bandana. Of course Ripper's wild side is somewhat halted by his strict sister, Ruby. As a trained medical professional, she makes sure Ripper gets his check-ups one way or another. She's no slouch in the muscle department either and not one to be crossed.

An inspirational nod to and who both draw absolutely amazing kangaroos.

Fun fact: kangaroos are a dimorphic species with the males having reddish-brown fur and the females being typically grey. It's rumored Ruby's fur is made of steel.
Taking a tiny break ... which turned into 2 hours of drawing and colouring - this was fun! Ah well. Back to work.
