Briar Potoroo and Amanda Cockatoo are original characters created by me and inspired by Crash Bandicoot by NaughtyDogJust wanted a little close-up of these two! They've been roommates since Briar moved to University. Amanda likes dying her crest of feathers all sorts of crazy colours. This month it's purple. Likewise her wardrobe is quite varied - though leggings are a must. Occasionally they like to do stunts where Briar rides on Amanda's back (though her long legs have to trail past Amanda's tail). As a character, functionally in the story, Amanda features as the best friend archetype, but she's definitely got a life outside of Briar. Currently she's dating a red-tailed black Cockatoo named Oliver. Occasionally she and Briar are foils, but mostly birds of a feather. Amanda is a strong, spirited individual who likes to speak her mind. She's had some definite opinion clashes on Briar's boyfriends. Not that Briar ever listens! Lucky for Pinstripe, Amanda apparently approves.
