Outfit: The Havoc WranglerGadget: X-ocular
Weapon: Precision Coil
The contest guidelines noted that you could draw either a costume, gadget or weapon. But, if I draw a costume, he has to wield some weapon. And if I draw a gadget, he has to wear some costume. Yep - I gotta' draw em all.

Makes me want a story out of this character and his gadgets. My head canon is that Nikola Tesla never died, he just traveled to the future and became a crime fighter. (Also, the gun is my favorite of the 3 ideas)

Nice - that's a sweet head-canon. Naturally his arch enemy would Thomas Edison, who possibly came from the future, and went back in time to patent DC electricity, based on Tesla's AC design. What mischievous fellows.

This is pretty awesome! I love the gold details on the costume.
Also the concept of his lightning gun and being able to see whats going on with his other arm makes this artwork even more interesting.
I get that the lightning is bouncing off objects and that he may be controlling this but I'm a bit curious about the effect of him standing in water himself.

Regarding the puddle he's standing in - it's a fair question. I had it there to show off the gun from a different angle, but I ran out of time and didn't get to add the details. So I tried suggesting a hole in the ground, dividing the puddle he's standing in and the one he's shooting, but I guess it wasn't overly clear.

This tickles my fancy! I like how not only does his suit look appealing to the eye, but his arms each tell you that the suit is apart of the weapon. The atmosphere is very steampunk, and the colors are well done.
