Athena (with Nike)edit: after seeing so many comments "teaching" me that Athena's bird should be an owl... here is my reply: This is my original manga version of Athena and Nike (in eagle form).
I've explained this so many times... just like with these pictures.... XD

I remember in 7th grade my English teacher taught us about Greek mythology we even had projects to research them and make a poster about them mine was Athena. That day I fell in love with the stories of Greek mythology.

She is my absolute favorite goddess and I'm a combination between her and hestia. She is very smart in battle, plans, and in art as well. Athena is awesome!! The picture itself really represents her and her serious yet mystical side to her.

I really like the fact that it's not an owl!She and Persephone are my favourite goddesses and you have drawn them and designed them perfectly and also the other goddesses and Gods!I like the fact you went for green in this(because at my school we have houses(for competition) and we Athenians, Corinthians, Romans(which I am in),Spartans and Trojans and the colours Athenians is green and it suits her with her brown straight hair and I love the gold in the design)!!!

If I haven't said so already, I want to say your portrayal of Athena is absolutely lovely.
I can only shake my head at those who don't get that even though, yes, you are drawing gods and goddesses of greek mythology you are not solely going by what has been portrayed in the myths.
I've seen new and old renditions of Athena with and without robes or with barely any clothes at all and each artist's rendition was beautiful.

I don't find this beautiful at all. She looks like a stripper, and she's not supposed to look like that. She's supposed to look wise, thoughtful, and womanlike, but you've just made a crackhead war lady stripper out of her.

Athena is my favorite Greek goddess (besides Artemis), and that is almost exactly how I picture her. But the Athena in my head has an owl on her shoulder, not Nike.
