Here is a little happier AMAlice-artwork for a change. It is not my newest, but I will soon get there.
For this one, as maybe can be seen and guessed, I was highly inspired by the "Deluded Depths"-levels in Alice:Madness Returns. I also wanted to draw Alice as a mermaid here (even though I frigg'n LOVE her Deluded Depths-dress too). I know that there is a unreleased skin of Alice's mermaid-outfit from this game, but as you maybe can see, I sort of went a little in my own style here (even though I soon one day will do a real one with Alice's mermaid-outfit too), I might indeed do several versions because I freakin' love both AMAlice, mermaids and the sea/ocean.This one also shows my love for both mermaids, the ocean and the otherworldly mysteries and magic which can exist under the sea/ocean.
But as can maybe be seen, I took a lot of inspiration from what I could remember from the actual underwater-levels in the game, like the Eye-fishes for example. Now afterwards I seriously Think that I could have done better with the actual background. But ah well, that something to take into account for later artworks.

The lyrics are from the Gothic-Metal band "Sirenia", from their song called "Sirens of the Seven Seas" from their album "The 13th Floor". And sadly when I scanned even this one, the Words became a lttle bit cut on one side there. So here are the lyrics written in this artwork;
"Lead me down to the sea.
To where the sirens call
and where the wves are raging free.

And then let me drown

into the sea..."

I also noticed that I missed one Word in the actual lyrics written in this artwork, it should be "all OF your sweetest melodies", Ah well...
