One of my not-so-old-and-more-newer AMAlice-fanartwork, and the very first one to be coloured only with my new Faber Castell's Polychromic colour-pencils. This artwork was done in 2019, and this time it features an Within Temptation song, "All I Need", from their album "The Heart of Everything". That song both inspired and is the expression of this fanartwork alongside with the visuals of the artwork itself. One day when I listened to the song, a lyric video on Youtube, I hadn't listened to WT for a while, I wanted to listen to this song and it hit me SOOOO much harder than it ever has. And then this fanartwork featuring this song was born, hugely inspired by this song.

In the artwork itself, what's happening here is that Alice is stuck at the ice-cold and gloomy Tundraful inside the ice, choking underwater while trying to break free (all the while she's been fighting the Ice Snark's that are still haunting her and want to get her). With the visuals here I wish to vent and express in another way than the song itself expresses its meaning, but it is still the same concept and topic; betrayal and deceit, loss of trust and abandonment... These are the feelings I also wish to express via this fanartwork. I say no more... This song perfectly describes it all and even more. And these feelings of which the song perfectly describes, it's enough to make you feel like you're seriously choking and drowning in that dreadful feeling. And this is one of those songs of which I feel hits right on the spot of how it can feel.
