Description
The title of this deviation is strongly linking to Revamp's song with the same title from their album "Wild Card". I gave this AMAlice-fanart this title because it was so hugely inspired by the song among other things. This is also another AMAlice-fanart of which I should have posted long ago (but was too lazy and inactive), thus here it is now. This fanart was started and made, I think, between year 2016-2017. Back then I had another sort of a turmoil in my life in which, in truth, I needed to express.

And this song by Revamp speaks further about what I wished to vent and also what Alice (although she has her own story and own circumstances, of course) is going through here.
My interpretation of this song back then; is inner-turmoil and chaos and utter confusion and conflict within by unknown cause, but this is just one layer and interpretation of the song, the rest is hard to explain. My interpretation now; well, one good message about this song is how important it is to not deny inner pain and suffering and keep on going full-drive until you get burn-out of some sort.
But what spoke to me when it comes to this song was how well it describes this inner turmoil, chaos, confusion and conflict and how circumstances (which is often the cause of these things) outside of you, or even a person/person's you trusted that they were there to help you, but instead made a mess of you, could be the cause of this state.

And when it comes to AMAlice herself and her story and what I with this fanart hope to convey and express alongside with the song...; Well, the lyrics in the artwork speaks the most and I had multiple colours for the lyrics for a very good reason, the song and singing itself in the song is also a duet. The red (blood) words written on the tapestry-walls is Alice's thoughts and the black (ruin) is Dr Bumby's reprimands to her.
And as we know from the game Madness Returns, what Alice goes through there and her inner-turmoil, just like this song, it's pretty chaotic, confusing while she's also wrestling inner demons. Demons caused by outside circumstances, like Dr Bumby, who, as we know, is causing this inner-chaos in her to manipulate her and well... Those of you who know the story of the game knows what sick goals Bumby (whom also had a sick past as well) had for her in the game. And as most of us know, both Alice, and most of us, early in the game believed that, as Bumby was her therapist, actually was there to help her but then his true colours came through in the end of the game. Well, most of us knows that story, and that story of Alice's is what I wish to convey (and hopefully managed to) with this fanartwork.
