Description
This is the first of a few rendition I will do for the symbolic bird in The Hunger Games. This symbol was very powerful to me, and prompted me to draw the bird. I would recommend the series to anybody who has not read them already - a great read.This is only a speed paint of approx ~30 minutes.

I have heard as well! I'm quite excited to see whether or not they botch the series - though I'll be the first in line either way. They've recently cast Katniss Everdeen and they landed on a good choice out of the hopefuls.

The audiobooks were great.
I have an hour commute to work every morning so I ended up listening to them in audiobook form. Best way to while away terrible traffic.
