Did the art stop being pixely? Is that character development? Are those word balloons? And somewhat screentones? DO I SMELL IMPROVEMENT?
Yes, yes, yes, somewhat, and MAAAAAYYBEEEEE.
As you can see, I made a BUTTLOAD of changes, but these changes are for the better! Instead of sketching and inking in MangaStudio, I decided to sketch in MS, then ink/color/whatever in Paint Tool Sai (since the lines come out smoother), and then add the text back in MS. The result? A more decent comic.
This took a lot of work, though, and the file is HUMONGOUS. Either I'll make shorter updates, or I'll stick to updating once a week with long ones (if I stick to the latter, I can't promise weekly updates from September on).
So... what about these changes? Yay or nay? I'm so excited

Ooo YAY more of the team! I'm glad you gave them some personality and quirks sooner rather than later. Brandy and Malta are hilarious, I love these two and their interactions together! I love Aura's doubts, really added to the character. And d'aww Kai

Zeph simply doesn't, but since I got a pretty cool idea for the plot, I'm gonna have to break all the non-existent rules Zeph imposed about plot. I'm the evil writer after all.
Gah. I'm quite the perfectionist. But I might update more frequently if I do shorter updates (or just cut the plot XD)

I drew it in Paint Tool Sai instead of Manga Studio. What made the difference was the anti-aliasing, which Manga Studio didn't have (anti-aliasing is when instead of having a line with jagged edges, it is smoothed with shades of gray. I dunno if that made sense to you, but it's sort of like that).
