Description This is Wyatt, Wiscasset Waterville & Farmington Railway No. 10. He is one of two 0-4-4T's that live on the WW&F. His road-mate, Wendy (WW&F No. 9), is undergoing her overhaul, and should be up and running by this Christmas. Not to mention, the WW&F is building a new road-mate for Wyatt and Wendy. Based on the designs of WW&F No. 7, they will have a new engine, Finn, No. 11.

Interesting fact, Wyatt isn't an actual WW&F engine. He was actually owned by a Louisiana Sugar Plantation and was actually gauged at 2'6". He was eventually regauged to 2' and went to several different tourist operations before going to the WW&F. However, #9 is a true WW&F locomotive. Wendy's older brother #8 derailed into a river in 1932 and his derailment cause the railroad to go bankrupt.

Yeah. There was an article about the WW&F in the November 2007 issue of Trains Magazine. Which was, technically speaking, my first personal issue of Trains Magazine. That's why I remember it.
