I wanna bring Zeph into life by means of animation, and through it, workout my skill as a 2D animator.
It feels good to to be able to bring one's avatar character to life by means of animation
A small part of the animation is inspired from Gundam SEED Destiny, no points for guessing where though
There's a lot of errors that need to be fixed and scene cut matches that have yet to be made.
Lost some body weight for working on this but...
At least I'm enjoying it.
Hmm, advice for the animation physics, weight and motion appreciated. I can already see a lot of mistakes myself:
-Wind stopping area, clothing stops without follow through, snapback -> recovery
-Falling -> landing sequence, clothing is a bit screwy, not enough follow through upon landing
-Standing up section -> This whole section is screwed, needs to be reworked on.
Gonna work to become a 2D animator in the future, or die trying.
PS: Its 12MB, so please be patient with it x.X
Note: This is a movie file, click on -> Download to Desktop to view it.
EDIT: Now fully re-uploaded as a DivX file, its now 1.9MB in total. Sorry for the inconvenience caused.

One step at a time.
First, the illusion of movement, and only after that, character animation.

I can't look at it because Windows Media player is being stupid. WinAMP doesn't seem to work either.

that is so cool! sounds like a dream job ... but, you know ... i don't think i can do animation ... you really gotta know how things fold and sit and turn into if they blow in the wind or raise their hand or something ... i don't know if my brain can handle it ... although, i've never tried ... i should try it ... ok, so, how do i start?

Animation basics training.
- Bouncing Ball <- Acceleration deceleration training, stretch and squash training on the ball
- Trailing hair <- Trailing + follow up motion
- Waving seaweed <- Wave motion practice
- Pendulum action <- Slow in slow out, refined acceleration deceleration practice
These are some basics you can do

I didn't, its mandatory for all fit males who are of our country's nationality or a permanent resident to serve in the military once one reaches the age of 18

Holy cow... ;___; The poses and the nice smoothness of the animation in comparison to a lot of other animations I've seen makes me wanna
cry with envy. I've never tried animating at all, so this truly is something for me to look up to as far as inspiration is concerned. I definitely wanna try to animate something, sometime, now. Lovely work, Zeph. ^____^

Not really, I hated the entire air to landing sequence, didn't look right, so I scrapped it entirely and changed the entire ending portion.
Thanks for the compliment tho

Pfft. XD I luffled the entire animation one way or another, even if you don't. The poses are much better than anything I could pull off so.

Feng Yun? I'll have to take a glance into that sometime. X3 Don't worry about your animation skills so much,
you're MUCH better than most... some would DREAM to be able to do what little you've shown, so don't put
yourself down so much. I'm sure you'll be excellent at animating one of these days as long as you keep
practicing. 8D We all have to start somewhere, right?
