Description
Click on 'Download to Desktop' or hit this [link] and make sure your compy supports DivXBeen busy these past few days with this.
I wanna bring Zeph into life by means of animation, and through it, workout my skill as a 2D animator.
It feels good to to be able to bring one's avatar character to life by means of animation
A small part of the animation is inspired from Gundam SEED Destiny, no points for guessing where though
There's a lot of errors that need to be fixed and scene cut matches that have yet to be made.
Lost some body weight for working on this but...
At least I'm enjoying it.
Hmm, advice for the animation physics, weight and motion appreciated. I can already see a lot of mistakes myself:
-Wind stopping area, clothing stops without follow through, snapback -> recovery
-Falling -> landing sequence, clothing is a bit screwy, not enough follow through upon landing
-Standing up section -> This whole section is screwed, needs to be reworked on.
Gonna work to become a 2D animator in the future, or die trying.

Yeah, I saw that after I posted. Only problem is, I don't have the DivX plug-in and don't wanna download it since it's trial anyway. Is there a way you could encode it for flash? I do have that. XD

I have flash, but the file size is hyooge (4.1MB) and it lags quite badly at very busy frames (It maybe my machine though).
DivX trial only? That's strange. I downloaded it for my machine and its been working perfectly since last year. Mine's version 6 if that helps

Its only a short demo, there'll be more additions made to it but its not gonna surpass 20seconds by much if anything.
Its nigh impossible for one person to come up with an animated feature length short (e.g 5 minutes) unless that person is godly, which I am not.

the starting isnt tat smooth as u can see the wind is blowing toward the char and the outfit tend to lag a bit

I tried to Full View this but I can not see anything different, it still reads "Full View!"
"Download to Desktop" does not seem to work either.

QT doesn't like MPEG2 apparently.

Works great now. The animation looks pretty good, I noticed some small parts where it looks like it is skipping a little bit. Otherwise it is a pretty good start.

Hmm, it might be your compy resources methinks, either that or your eyes are very fast and ya caught the 12fps segments. o_O

It does not really skip, I can just see at certain times that it will stop for a fraction of a second before continuing. I would have thought my computer resources as well, but I have a custom built computer originally designed for gaming. It plays the same on my fathers 6400 computer.
