Hunter Remy is freaking CUTE This will be my last entry for this show, so I figured I'd go for it!

“JESUS, stop pulling so hard!” Laura fiddled with the buttons on her shirtsleeves as Ileana yanked and wrangled her hair into a hairnet, just one of the several reasons she loathed the hunter classes.
“Do you want to look like a ragamuffin, child? Because if you keep squirming, you’ll get there,” Ileana mumbled through a mouthful of hair ties. Laura rolled her eyes, for about the sixtieth time that day.

“You do know it’s a training show, right? Most of these people are showing in polo shirts and schooling breeches.”

“A training show is still a show as long as the judge has eyes, missy,” Ileana reprimanded, pressing the knot of the hairnet even harder into Laura’s forehead.

“OW! Dammit, you’re worse than my mother.”

“Well, maybe you should learn to do it yourself. You want to touch anything at this barn with hunter tack, you’d better be doing this every day.”

Laura’s eyes just about bugged out of her head, between the pulling and her hatred of hairnets at shows, let alone for everyday riding.

“You aren’t serious, Ileana.”

“I’m dead serious. You want to practice with the team, your hair is in a hairnet or no ride.”

“Where did this rule come from?”

“Common sense?”

Laura bitterly strapped on her gloves and pulled her ratty old Charles Owen helmet out of its bag with eye roll number sixty-one. “Well, this hairnet headache is about to prove that common sense shit dead wrong, buddy.”
