Hamen is used to two sorts of combat - overwhelming a single enemy with his sheer power, or using his Stockpile and Protect to build up endurance against multiple enemies at once while slowly whittling them down. He's not clever, preferring to rush into the fight and end it quickly, but this manner of dealing with his problems hasn't failed him yet.
He came to Huana to find a specific Pokémon, the son of an old partner, in order to save the boy's life. Any sacrifice is worth achieving that goal, even killing anyone who gets in his way - though to his credit, he'll do what he can with his limited intellect to not hurt anyone.

I feel like his voice would sound a lot like Shrek. But then again, I imagine every garbodor I see with Shrek's voice, heheh!
