It would be a mistake to consider Voz the fellow to "round out" the Sages, as the real truth is that he and Eunice started the whole branch together. Maybe it's because the old fellow isn't quite as business-minded as his wife is after hours - although he is extremely careful to make sure that the Sages' paperwork, bills and all manner of documents are properly written out, filed and stored away (even carrying several of them on his person with a small work table to boot), Voz has always kept an air of family-friendliness about him over being a businessmon.

To be frank, a lot of people in Whisper Falls don't even realize he's a member of the Sages Guild if they haven't asked him about the pack slung over his chest. He doesn't discuss business with anyone who isn't a leader in the guild already, instead acting as that funny grandpa who keeps derailing conversations to start talking about something that happened to him in the good old days - usually, without any real lesson to share in the end. That's why the folks who love him care to have him around, though! There's no better friend than someone who cares enough to make sure you're having a good time, and something to laugh about.

How he talks:
"I wouldn't worry too much about what others think about you, son... having a whole diverse set of Pokémon in this world is exactly how we keep a fun spirit in the world, always something new! And besides, if you really think something is odd in this world then just take a look at the old man carrying a wood block on his chest, eh? Hah hah hah!"

"Eunice is just the sweetest, isn't she? Not very many folks expect someone with such a tough hide to be soft and gentle from their first meeting, but she takes the cake when it comes to flipping expectations. And not just cake - you ought to try some of the pies she can bake! There's one she calls Scarlet Berry - oh it's practically to die for!"

"Try not to be too judgmental of 'outsiders', as you're calling them. Keep in mind, a lot of folks have come here from out of the region - Xin's prior, for example - there's loads of stories about how Tippel settled in where he was brought here to replace his own predecessor. One of them had to do with his first Rite of Bonding, when someone slipped and fell into the pool..."
