I guess what it boils down to is the matter of opinion. Amazingly, I’m not going to say that your opinion is wrong, it is just somewhat shallow.

When you think about it, Kingdom Hearts is a rather cartoon like game, so I don’t think you should be expecting a keyblade to be sharp. I mean, come on, the general idea of a keyblade just really don’t seem to fit. Square (before the merger, I’m talking about their art direction,) has had a history of making really flamboyant characters and some of us have come to accept that fact; yes we may complain but that doesn’t me there isn’t much we can do about. We’ve grown to respect the artist who has done what the can to bring the idea to life. I think the biggest thing that helped this game was the way Disney characters reacted to Square characters.

Another thing about Disney is that there cartoons are not pathetic. Honestly if you look back into the history of some cartoons (especially anime,) Disney was a big influence in the way it looks. Disney is still a big influence on some things now.

If you can do something better, by all means, the floor is yours.

If I had the proper means, I would welcome the chance.

I find Disney cartoons to be pathetic because many of them are as predictable and shallow as anything comes, and they seem incapable of properly making cartoons to appeal to the whole spectrum of agegroups. In addition, Disney fires all their artists after just one movie/show/etc. just to 'reinvent' themselves, yet the art still looks almost entirely the same. Wouldn't you call that pretty pathetic and cruel to their employees?

Finally, Square has always had a good reputation and slot within the market for older gamers, and have catered to that prettymuch exclusively for many a year...so why join with Disney all of a sudden to make a game better suited for kids...and moreever, why try to redeam that to older gamers by giving it complicated structure, when that leave the kids confused and frustrated? And yes, Square has made some flamboyant characters (IE Queena), yet their ideas were always based in comedy and originality...nothing like the kids stuff that's been played and replayed over and over such as Disney.

And finally...it's called a keyBLADE. What proper blade do you know that's not only dull, but more of a cudgle? They could have made it atleast almost sharp, or given it a different name. They could have even redid the key idea, and made it a separate item with different abilities, as opposed to his primary weapon.

Was that shallow enough for you? ^^

Okay, really, first of all it is a common phase on some sites. If you don't know "internet lingo" by now, your username fits you. Don't try to start a battle you can't finish, I took the high road and said you won. If you have a problem with that, go take it up with a mod.

No, you took the low road and made a smart-ass comment about me winning when that was not what I was trying to do. I know interenet lingo...but am not familiar with nor pay much attention to something anything so immature and inane. Also, as you said...'on some sites'...that in and of itself shows that you for some reason though baka would apply to me, just if I hadn't visited those sites. Think before you talk please, and if you want to take the high road, then do not be sarcastic and immature. And on that note, I'd like to go back to just getting notices regarding anything from you of your art, which I enjoy, as opposed to an arguement. I look foreward to the next deviation.

bad camera angles and not enough focus on the disney characters as oppose to squareenixes. It's just my simple opinion nothing more. I know the fangirls are gonna kick my ass when they see me for saying that. Did I mention I hate Final Fantast VII too....
