And I'd be all bashful like too, if someone painted me this badly.

This is a practice "painting" of Ishida Uryuu from Bleach. It was all dark hair and white clothes and I wanted to figure out what I was doing with my newly aquired, hand-me-down watercolor pencils. ::

Really, all the white in this is really blank paper. Maybe some grey... did I even put white down on this? I don't even know anymore. He's a circa the first wash of my Rukia painting on the timeline - a one day fiddle in the middle of November 2006.

Ishida's a beloved test run. He gets the normal painting treatment at home (if not better than Rukia sometimes because I travel with her as a show-off piece...) Eventually he'll get tested on further with a glossy paint sealant - if he takes well to it I'll use it on the rest of my paintings to keep them fresh for selling at this year's con circuit.

Edit - He liked the glossy treatment, so all my paintings go glossy now. Even if the downstairs neighbors almost called the cops on me for spraying the stuff near the front stairs.
