Description
This one was fun, because for the forst time in a while I actually bothered to actually fillin blacks and ink with real acrylics and a brush. Felt good to work with that again.This is ~jero1

this has got to be my favourite of your more recent portraits. i like the way you have gotten the oranges and blues to work together so well. they don't clash against eachother as much as i would usually expect. yes, it works very well, and while i do like the tan sort of colour you use in the variation of this, i think i have to say i like this version better, even if the only reason is that the black adds a sense of depth and makes your brilliant use of the blues and oranges more apparent.

I like that you didnt colour his eyebrows in like the rest of his hair. i think if they were dark the image would be unbalanced with to much black but having them done with line like that works really well.

i don't doubt that at all, but there's something in the face that makes him (you?) look young. I think it has something to do with the length of the nose or...maybe it's just the perspective... i don't know. wasn't meaning to offend.
