Description
So I am not sure what to think of this, as it started with a completely different color scheme and set of tonal effects. But they never coalesced into something until I hammered them into oblivion. Now I am wondering if I simply should have gone greyscale again or monochromatic...sigh, I was jonesing to finish something and maybe it shows, btw, this is ~ll as made from his stock account ~LL-stock

Looks like you're doing a biography on a prison inmate. It's funny, that dark dark brown you've put around some of the black makes it look like the sheen on a smelly permanent marker, and I look at it and the smell comes to mind so clearly I could swear your image on my computer smelles.

Ho!
I like the depth in this.
I get the feeling this fellow is on the verge of some sorta breakdown.
..
..what little of his shirt I can see resembles a straightjacket!
Was that intentional, or am I just projecting as I have a habit of doing?

Oh come on . . . it's great!! I love how it looks with so much of a shadow on his front--it seems to add some depth to it. And the lines on his face--still sort of in the shadows, but distinct enough to be interesting.

This is lovely! Although I should point out that's actually my brother you've used as reference, not me
Still, regardless this is brilliant stuff - I love the use of traditional elements here to make it look so wonderfully stylised
Great stuff, and many thanks for using the stock account
