Description It's back. I had a batch of Ouroborous series ideas that had gone unused until *stigmatattoo did some work that gave me the bug to work some into shape.

charcoal pencil on bristol, acrylic paint on bristol and acetate, assembled and composed in photoshop.

awesome linework, man. what gorgeous overlays. and i always like minor inclusions of color in b/w things. ; ) reminds me of a collograph or monoprint.

+and i'm working on a huge canvas now that preys on you, as well. a bit. somewhat. i'm glad the quanta series stirred you, your work has certainly been an influence for the way i attack abstracts (i have to attack them, and they fight back somewhat fierce). i love this one, the monochrome background resembles a litho stone, heavy with texture, tusche-like black and gray... very interesting, makes me stare and travel through it. the rings, the snake... such dynamic force, it burns and whirls and has such lively glow that it goes beautifully with the concept, which is an all-time favourite, as you know. so, a fav. and thanks.+

the lines and textures are wonderfully chaotic
I've always wanted just one tattoo, of an ouroborous
nothing ornate, something almost abstract
and this is very close to just what i want
lovely work

I love the well balanced look of this. The tones are of course striking, but its the compostion/distortion/grunge appeal that made me glance twice. Great work bro.

Like a three dimensional wall hanging - so much space in this it's like I can pluck them off and drop them to the floor. Excellent.

i think this is one of the first pieces where i have seen you use that much white. the black and white with the minimal orange is a good combo. love it.

I love this man, the harsh lines reminds me of "the dirthchamber sessions" artwork. mainly just the scribbly circles. my heart melts for them. nice work on the composition and assembly -- it's amazing.

Thank you sir. I have had an much easier time as of late assembling these, hence a happier `zeruch and (to me) better compositions.

As have I. I started an original series of what became 100 different takes on the theme based on a single glyph that became more abstracted as it progressed. Some of the ideas were quite successful, some were complete duds. It took me almost 18 months to complete, and even then I was not out of ideas.

I had been twiddling with several of these when *stigmatattoo released a trio of works called Quanta* and I was happily roused. The guy is seriously underrated.
