it seems i can always come back to your gallery and find something new or rediscover something and constantly be amazed.
my admiration and respect for you and your work is so great i am afraid i'll ruin the compliment by overdoing it, and you won't believe me. and that's the truth.

I really like this, to me it has a lot of Rothko in it: just a lot more free form and giving the impression of movement

All of the tones underneath are earthy, but the white on top really makes it special. And it looks so good for acrylic. Wow. +fav

Makes me feel like a tiger.
I would like to go to a museum, and sit in a gallery full of your abstracts for a few hours. Maybe bring and mp3 player, and just study each piece.

If I ever get a gallery show, you are on the guest list for the wine and cheese opening...I'll save you a few bottles, a wheel of gouda, and access to my cd library.

This is neat! The white has the effect like a transparent reflection off a window. It's like you have two seperate compositions integrated into one, and they work well together (which I find veeery difficult to do).

actually you are closer than you think, as many of my abstracts are several paintings overlayed on each other - this is intentional and the way I paint caters to this approach directly).

hmmm... there are so many things i love about this. the abandon, the ease with which this whole piece is made, the transparent layers the white swipes create, the oranges blazing thro...but most of all, I love the fact that your finger/palm print got recorded in that white...

your colors are awsome as usual.
did you do some of the white lines with the side of your hand or something? i like thier texture as they get lower on the painting. Kinda veiny.
good title too. Is it taken from anything in particular?

the white wasdone with a brayer and the title is one of the few that I made up (I title most of my work from music lyrics or song titles themselves).
