Its really good.Rather an abstraction without being over done.
But theres something I just can't put my finger on...Is it the grunge ?

They all make it into prints eventually. I just have to get the source file approved someday (it hasn't been uploading successfully)

long live his imperial purpleness, assuming you're talking about prince and not some pop-culture reference that was totally lost on me

You are correct; I most certainly am referring to the militantly funky midget from Minneapolis (Prince).

I like that a lot - will we be seeing a print of this?

Most definitely. I make prints of almost everything (since I want hardcopy for myself at the very least, but I am always happy when someone else helps subsidize my art supply expenditures

I love it... The colour scheme is great, and I love the sort of stressed look it has... I love it. Yay for acrylics!

Great color palette and an even better use of media here.

it is simply brilliant. as are the rest of your works.
i love the mix of text and chaotic glory that is
the entirety of the image. it's just so complex in its
simple portrayal of the concept. the almost bronze,
and yet decaying and somewhat ripping background
is a beautifull backdrop to the decadent text before it
and it certainly compliments it. brilliant as always,
m'friend

Ooh, I like it.
But I think "Pope Life" would have made me like it more.

this is brilliant... all of your pieces are very competent, but this is standout even by that measure.
And I must admit I didn't understand "His Imperial Purpleness" at first.. but I'm a bit young, you see...

Funny, I saw this quickly on the front page but missed it to comment - and now
I see it in my inbox of artist's works as yours. Sweet - my eye for good work
is still kickin. Great work here man.
I love the seemingly endless restructuring until completion.
