Description this started out much more complex than it ended up (the number of layers was growing exponentially and the result was I spent more time paring down than I did building up the textures). I have recently spent some time looking at Ruscha and this was going to have type in it at one point, but cooler heads prevailed.

I do not know what I decided to call it Pull, but that is what stuck in my head.

acrylic paint (standards and metallics), screenprinting ink + digital

Thank you for purchasing a print. It helps subsidize more work.

As to a larger size, I can see if the source file will be accepted for larger sizes, but I make no promises in that regard.

oh goodness...when i zoomed in on this i get a different picture.
there're two scenes in this. the tops is that of a burning scene...fiery red flames and some charred wood
the bottom ..is a winter morning with trees and ice in the surrounding..

and when i see it altogether as a piece..i think you're trying to portray the contrast between the two atmospheres..ie..extreme heat and cold

nevele [2004-05-22 15:14:39 +0000 UTC]

looks like the riverdance stage..and those streaks give the atmosphere of music fr the violin and energetic movement

I don't know if it will be as good a quality as DA prints, but send me your snail mail address and I'll see if I can do a decent print of it for you...I owe you that much at least.

I'm an idiot.

man, this isn't fair. if i had the money, i think i'd be you're biggest collector- i just absolutely ADORE this style of art.

its a pity i'm so poor- else i'd be bothering you to purchase the originals

anyways- i can't really do a decent critique. i like it too much.
