Before she was reborn into the Harbingers, Shikii was born of a race called the Trigae. This female-dominant species evolved from ferocious carnivores to galactic explorers in a staggeringly short time. In this time, males retained many physical and mental attributes while females largely abandoned their primal traits. Shikii was a minority among the females, one of the few more closely resembling their ancestors. Fast, strong, and brutal, the higher castes saw her as a threat and imprisoned her. During her short captivity, Shikii was the cause of many deaths among the staff and fellow prisoners. Enough was enough, and the Council of Riikohs saw to her execution, jettisoned in a pod into the abyss of space. After a time floating aimlessly, the gravity of a nearby star pulled her pod in to a system of planets. Passing several gas giants, gravity propelled Shikii toward a small blue planet, where she and the pod would burn and crash.
