Description A continuation of the 'Real Monsters' series of character designs, carrying on from the work I did for

This one is based on Depression.
"The depression monsters floats around endlessly, always covering his eyes becuase of his depressed state. Because of this he always bumps into things causing more distress to himself each time.
Hugs are known to relieve this poor creatures levels of depression and lift its mood slightly."

However i never gave consideration to just hot big the monster was......

What if it gets bigger, each time it bumps into something and gets frustrated, and hugs make it shrink to normal sizes?
hehe Even if it was three times my size, I'd still try to hug it's leg if that's all I could put my arms around.

It could physically swell as it hits things, which would obviosuly make it more depressed.

hahah SO FLUFFY IM GUNNA DIE!
(although its actually not fluff, the design was based on a manatee so the fluffy things are coral like tendrils)
Split personality is in the works, twill be done soon.

Well I imagined them as being like fingers on rubber gloves (you know, the yellow ones for washing up) So it utlimatly depends on your definition of fluffy
But I think about these things too much! lol

Hmm, quite.
Now that you mention it, rubber feels fluffy to me...
Thinking too much is sometimes a good thing!
'Sometimes' because some other times one thinks too much, it results him getting depressed and all...

Ooh, I really like this one's design! It's really cool how the comparison between the monsters and the diseases are more subtle and symbolic.

How about Paranoia? I feel like that mental condition has a lot of ways you could take it.
