Description
A quick little tutorial of sorts showing my working process.I have finally built up a style that incorporates the best bits of Photoshop and good ol' traditional watercolour painting methods as well as some hand drawn linework.
I hope someone finds this helpful/interesting. (Just so you know, the watercolour shading is dropped in on a 'multiply' layer above the colouring but below the linework. Everything is pretty self explanatory.)

Oh wow! That is incredible! I never even thought of adding a watercolor layer over art in Photoshop!
Also, what pen are you inking with? It looks like a good one, and it's obviously waterfast.

Thank you so much!
I use a Pentel Ink Brush, its like a brush felt tip pen, but has actual bristles like a paintbrush and uses actual ink so it doesn't run with water.
They are really fun to use, but they go through ink very quickly! Or that might just be me...

oh that is so helpful!
I was always wondering how you managed to give your digital colouring such a handmade feel.
Such a good combination of the advantages of both colouring methods...
I feel enlightened, thanks for sharing your secret!

It took me along time to come up with a good mix of both techniques, but im so pleased with this technique.
However, it takes twice as long to do anything, if not 3 times! hehe
It is worth the effort though, I think.
Thank you for your comments!
(i still get very flattered when I get a comment from you. I admire your work so much!)
