In my daily walk through the streets of my city I experience this kind of situation almost everyday. On this very particular incident, I noticed that the cops were trying to subdue this Native man. The man with the kilt (Irish Pub employee) maybe venting his anger on this poor fellow.Edit: Daily Deviation

Really? brutality? This is a man that is being handcuffed. How do you know how this man came to be in the prone position? for all we know, he may have already been in this position prior to the police intervention.

Listen to you. We have a man being arrested and now you have tear gas involved. Pray tell where you see evidence of tear gas in this event?

The police are "subduing" yet you want to make it being brutality. Evidence please.

of course, a model citizen of any totalitarian regime not necesarrily must be a 'sympathizer' of its ideology - it is sufficient that he/she behaves like you: in any case of violence from the state/authorities instinctively taking their side (not that of the victim) and defending their acts (without knowing anything about).

just read about the police killing in brooklyn at november 20th. apart from the racist 'grand jury' decisions, which obviously gave a lot of racist kille in the police forces (both in USA & canada) a supposed licence to kill any black suspect; it is people like you - the famous silent majority - who defend their criminal behaviour giving them a good consciousness ('good (=white) citizens will support us!')

Interesting, though, that you automatically assume that this is the result of racism on the officer's/America's part rather than any wrongdoing on the arrested man's part, that the Irish man was kicking the fallen one instead of just stepping over or around him. Police are here, in theory, to protect people, not arrest helpless ones. Though the photo, along with the title, suggests such a story as the one you tell, this is certainly not a cut and dry picture. As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words, and this one is certainly worth some thought and consideration.
