Description
The Riddler appearing as he did once before but with a very big difference in what he is now.Shortly before his death to a neurological disease, Riddler found out a way to download his mind and personality onto a microchip so Gotham would always have a Riddler. He put it in a Wonder City robot and what happened to him after that was unknown but decades later, the Riddler showed up looking like he hasn't aged at all. When the new Batman went to face off against this returned foe, he found out that Riddler's appearance was hologram based, but it was the genuine person, only now he's an Infiltration Zeta Unit Synthoid. Not only is his mind as sharp as ever, Riddler now has the robotic strength, skill, and weapons to now make him a deadlier threat to Batman.

1) Glad you like that.
2) Well he never got married to her. The woman he was with was the daughter of Andrea Beaumont (The Phantasm), Mary Beaumont, and they only dated for a year or two before Damien left and was unaware that Mary was pregnant.
Me too. I know a lot of people had a problem with him but I liked him and his look and how his Arkham Knight costume was eventually torn away to make the Red Hood costume.

Hoooo! The unknown relative of Batman!
By the way, since we are talking about DC stuff, have you read the 'interview' with the new Lex Luthor? What is your first impression of him from the trailer?

Zigwolf In reply to Danielle-van-Blood [2016-01-07 07:51:31 +0000 UTC]
I haven't read the interview but I am aware of it. I thought he wasn't too bad in the trailer, we got to see the suave side of him that he shows everyone to hide the villain he truly is and the part with him and Lois shows perfectly how arrogant and above everyone he thinks he is. Can't make too much of a judgment call based on a few scenes but I'm liking what I'm seeing so far.

Yeah, think so too. And I love that you don't start judging only by the trailer. What I liked is that they showed, as you put it, suave side of his. It kind of gives the feeling of him playing around as if he really treated everyone around as equal to him while he doesn't. And you should totally check out the interview. It was so cool!

Yeah, it doesn't do anyone any good to criticize a movie based on a few snippets shown in trailers and clips. People are just wasting time hating 1-2 minutes out a 90-120 minute movie.
I'll check that out. Have you seen the new "Do You Bleed ?" TV Spot or the newest clip showing more of that scene ?

Yeah. It's kind of dumb. Considering how misleading trailers can be.
Yes, saw those. It's interesting how a few additional seconds give so much hype

Zigwolf In reply to Danielle-van-Blood [2016-01-15 01:10:51 +0000 UTC]
Yeah, a big example of that was this story I heard where they said that people were complaining about the new Star Wars movie because the trailer was misleading about two certain characters. Some trailers are meant to do that so you won't guess about certain parts of the movie.
Definitely, I think you can show a lot by showing little, you know, less is more. Don't show us more of the movie, show us more of what we've already seen. Then the hype will keep building and people won't complain about seeing too much of the movie.

Yeah! Just little by little reveal small details about already seen parts (like a little bitmore of Lex in the court, Clark in the office wwith Perry or Bruce staring at the suit before being called out for by Alfred)

I did, it was so cool seeing what Flash, Aquaman, and Cyborg are going to be like. Plus seeing the new Wonder Woman footage and some more snippets of BVS was so awesome!! And it's really great that we're getting a GL Corps movie that will take place mostly if not entirely in space. That was a problem I had with the first GL movie, too much time on Earth.

Danielle-van-Blood In reply to Zigwolf [2016-01-21 06:12:01 +0000 UTC]
Yeah! So far, Ezra Miller doesn't look as bad as I expected on the concept arts. And I love how Aquaman's design looks! (I really love this guy and hate the fact that he is really underappreciated.) And Wonder Woman footage was awesome!
Yeah, GL is another topic. It is gonna be so amazing if we get to see the galaxy from the angle of the Corps! Like in GL: First Flight.

Zigwolf In reply to Danielle-van-Blood [2016-01-22 07:00:53 +0000 UTC]
Yeah, I was a little hesitant when I heard about the casting. I like Ezra Miller and I like the Flash but Ezra as the Flash was something that could be cool but something I need to see first to put my fears at ease. Looking at this has made me think that this is indeed a good fit and I'm loving the concepts for the costume. Can't wait to see his cameo in BvS.
Oh yeah. Aquaman is looking badass. I think that underappreciation might start to go away after we get a trailer for his movie.
Yes! First Flight was a perfect origin movie for GL and I hope we get to see something like that for this movie.
BTW What did you think of the Suicide Squad trailer ?

Danielle-van-Blood In reply to Zigwolf [2016-01-22 08:11:05 +0000 UTC]
Totally. I really like the new hairstyle and how it looked on concept art. Let's hope this will be a cool cameo and even cooler movie. I also loved how each actor talked about their character. Especially Aquaman and Cyborg. Damn, the actor for Cyborg looks awesome.
Hope so. Honestly, the first incarnation of Aquaman I have seen was similar to the one they are going to use in film. (Long hair, naked torso, shoulder pads...) I never understood why people made fun of him.
Exactly. And this would also introduce the system of GL Corps better. As well as show us more of Sinestro! God, I hope they will make a really good movie because then we can hope for other Lanterns! (Atrocitus, Larfreeze!)
The trailer totally caught me off guard. I expected it to start with some kind of talk between Waller and some big political figure about how some threats need different treatment. Then we would be introduced to the Squad with Waller making things clear between them. Then a few quick scenes with them suiting up and going to "save the world". Oh, and occasional Joker cameo.
But...
The moment the Queen song started playing, I felt that something was different. I liked how we were shown a little bit of their prison life. Captain Boomerang's behaviour and screaming was definitely unexpected. Then the quick going through their profiles!
For me, honestly, trailer itself was quite crazy! In a good way, it switched from funny to musicless pieces of small talk to action-packed scenes (that plane scene was amazing). It looked also so good that even CGI didn't bother me that much. In fact, I liked how Enchantress' aura and Katana's Soul Shredder light or El Diablo's fire looked.
And the Joker was... Joker. Not the anarchist version we grew to love from Dark Knight Trilogy but rather the psychotic and playful insane criminal! That line"I can't wait to show you my toys!" was not as threatening as in the first trailer but still it sent shivers down my spine.

Zigwolf In reply to Danielle-van-Blood [2016-01-22 21:27:22 +0000 UTC]
Yeah, I liked those as well. Already some small things to show how this Flash will be different from the TV one.
I agree with Cyborg's actor looking awesome and I loved how he said that Victor will struggle to stay human and not become full machine like most of him is. It reminds me of something I heard about how different Marvel and DC heroes are. Marvel heroes are about humans becoming gods and DC is about Gods trying to be human.
People make fun of Aquaman mostly because of how he was portrayed in Superfriends, which was his first appearance outside of comics. Any joke you've seen or heard about Aquaman most likely came from that.
Yeah! I hope the Lantern movie could be about how more lantern corps are appearing around the universe and how the GL corps must fight some of them and try to ally themselves with the others. That could make for some huge world building with just one movie.
That seems to be everyone's opinion. "It wasn't what I expected, but it was awesome"
Oh yeah, I never thought Suicide Squad would ever have Bohemian Rhapsody play over one of it's trailers but it was such a good fit. Loved the jail life and profiles as well, it shows a lot (in a good way) in such a short time.
Definitely, the pacing was perfect with this trailer from how they would switch from scene to scene. I liked those effects as well. It was good to finally see how powerful El Diablo's fire is, that Katana will be a more mystical type of character, and how Enchantress has a dark aura around her whenever she is possessed. Just really awesome to see what can be shown when time is given and special effects can be added with that time.
Oh, man. Joker just keeps getting better with every new footage of him being shown. This Joker is like you said psychotically playful, close to some other Jokers we've seen, but very different in it's own way. Can't wait to see Joker in this movie and hopefully again in the Batman solo movie.

TheScarletMercenary In reply to Zigwolf [2015-12-30 02:40:54 +0000 UTC]
Yeah and when he ends up in his last Zeta bot body, Barbara could lock him in and disable his other features, leaving him stuck as a plain old robot.

Zigwolf In reply to TheScarletMercenary [2015-12-30 20:24:06 +0000 UTC]
Yeah, that would be good. Then with his body swapping powers deactivated, he has to depend on the Zeta unit's other abilities like turning into people the new Batman has associated with to keep him from punching him.

Oooooooor......... how about this. After he's defeated, we see a scene where he gets back up and defeats Batman and using his robotic weapons, he kills Batman.
Or so it would seem. Riddler's victory is actually a program happening inside of Riddler's head and the real Riddler is brought into GCPD with a dazed look like he doesn't even know what's going on in the real world.

Well for the assassin of this series, I originally planned to go with Curare. She looks better than him and seems like she would easily fit into the story as working for the League of Assassins. Plus I got an idea that I'm not ready to reveal yet that would greatly expand on her character.
